Turkish Ambassador Strengthens Cameroon-Türkiye Relations Through Humanitarian Outreach in Douala

DOUALA, CAMEROON - Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E. Volkan ÖSKIPER, demonstrated Türkiye 's commitment to humanitarian partnership during a significant visit to Douala, highlighting the deepening ties between Türkiye  and Cameroon through concrete acts of solidarity.

Historic Ram Distribution at Dogpassi Mosque

During the Islamic feast celebration, Ambassador ÖSKIPER distributed 250 rams donated by the Turkish Diyanet Foundation to the Dogpassi Mosque community in Douala 3. This generous gesture brought immense joy to local families and reinforced Türkiye 's commitment to supporting Cameroon's Muslim community.

The ceremony, organized by the Grand Imam of Dogpassi Mosque, was attended by;

Following the mosque visit, Ambassador ÖSKIPER, accompanied by CTBC President Senator Nfon Ekoko Mukete, toured the Bepanda Multipurpose Center. Mayor Dr. Roger Mbassa Ndine of Douala 1 municipality welcomed the delegation and presented the center's current challenges through a documentary film.
