Türkiye brings its knowledge and experience to Cameroon
Once again, The CTBC graced the pages of the Turkish news outlet Hürriyet in their coverage of the Round Table Meeting hosted by the Türkiye-Cameroon Business Council at the DEIK HQ in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Referring to the successful projects carried out by Turkish companies in Cameroon, Demirtaş stated that Türkiye has brought its technical knowledge and experience to Cameroon by realizing projects such as cement factories, forestry processing facilities, Douala Port warehouse construction, Olympic stadium and sports facilities.
Demirtaş stated that together with Senator Ekoko Mukete, Honorary Consul of Türkiye and President of CTBC (Cameroon Türkiye Business Council), His Excellency Volkan IşıkçıTurkish Ambassador and Tuna Özel, Turkish Commercial Counselor, they had a productive working environment in order to improve trade and friendship relations between both countries.
He also emphasized that various opportunities were offered to investors with the active participation of Turkish and Cameroonian business people in the meetings organized in Istanbul and Douala.
Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development of the Republic of Cameroon, stated that their country is a politically stable country and offers great opportunities in the fields of energy, agriculture, mining, construction and digital transformation. Stating that they are ready for cooperation on all kinds of investments, that there are many incentives for investment in their country and that they expect Turkish investors to Cameroon, Mey stated that the quality perception of Turkish products is high in Cameroon.
Minister Mey also stated that the Cameroonian people have great empathy for the Turkish people because of the peaceful policies that Türkiye has implemented in the world.
