Extending a Helping hand to the People of Türkiye
The terrible earthquakes that hit Türkiye on Monday February 7th 2023 have left more than 8000 thousand dead and more than 50000 people wounded and in dire need of immediate medical attention and other forms of help.
With thousands of homes totally destroyed as a result of these earthquakes, so many are homeless and when you add the freezing temperatures, Türkiye and Syria truly need our prayers.
A condolence book has been setup at the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Türkiye in Douala where you can stop by to write a note of comfort and say a prayer for all the innocent souls that are no longer with us and a prayer for all those who mourn now.
The entire nation of Türkiye is in mourning.
These are our friends, brothers, sisters and business partners. We mourn with them during this tragic time.
Find below a list of needs which have been shared with us as we seek to coordinate donations from anyone who will like to lend a helping hand to those in need. Items such as medical, food and clothing supplies are in extremely high demand.
