A Meet and Greet between the Turkish Ambassador and the Turkish Companies in Cameroon
H.E Volkan IÅžIKÇI, the new Ambassador of Türkiye to Cameroon on Saturday March 27, 2021 received Turkish companies in Cameroon during a Meet & Greet Cocktail at the Turkish Embassy Residence in Yaoundé at 16:00.
This was an opportunity to meet and officially introduce himself to the Turkish Private Sector in Cameroon which is line with the Türkiye Foreign Economic Relations Board – DEIK vision.
It was a great time and everyone had a one on one with His Excellency to clearly share their Cameroon experience. It was also a time for business leaders to share hitches that needed the Ambassador and especially the Turkish Honorary Consul’s assistance as you will see from some of the pictures.
The event started with networking, people walking up to each other and introducing themselves while hors d’oevres and drinks were served. Thereafter, His Excellency proceeded to welcome everyone and a welcome cake was offered to him by the Embassy staff which was sliced and everyone got a bite.
In attendance were General Managers of YENIGUN, OYAK, MEDCEM, GROUPERDEM, FORMAT CONSTRUCTION, ESER CONSTRUCTION, ORPEX CAMEROON, TIKA (Turkish Cooperation Coordination Agency), MAARIF FOUNDATION, ISTANBUL RESTAURANT, BELDA INSAAT, MUFIT COLLECTION, AGK CELIK, EKVATOR, GOL THY, FITCO, CIMPOR, SUITSS, HILTON Yaoundé – Director of Operations, Honorary Consuls of Türkiye and Cameroon, President of TURCABA – Association of Turkish and Cameroon Businessmen, Commercial Counselor at the Turkish Embassy, Visa Officer and Secretary at the Turkish Embassy in Yaoundé and the Cameroon Türkiye Business Council Executive Director.
The event ended with tea at about 18:00.
